This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Payroll Administrator to work for premium branded business in Leicester close to the city centre. Required is an experienced “Payroller” with full knowledge from start to end. A position that is extremely flexible, if striking that all important work / home balance is on your agenda, this could be ideal. The organisation requires 25 hours per week but is flexible in the hours being done over 3, 4 or 5 days.
This is a stand-alone role but you will still be working in a small finance team. The position is responsible for timely and accurate payroll services to the group. c600 employees with varying degrees of terms of employment, shift patterns and premiums. The systems are at the front end of payroll technology however the complexity of the employee base requires high levels of understanding and organisation.
Similar weekly and monthly payroll experience gained from a fast-paced environment that involved working under pressure and tight timescales. Ideally within a time and attendance framework.
Previous experience within Healthcare is highly desirable
Strong understanding of payroll legislation i.e. TAX, SSP, SMP
Highly numerate with excellent mental arithmetic skills
Excellent interpersonal skills – being able to communicate effectively at all levels
Superb attention to detail and accurate data entry skills with an organised and methodical approach
