A unique and challenging opportunity rare to the market has become available within a prominent local employer in Leicestershire. The European Credit Specialist within my client’s business is a pivotal and key role specifically designed for delivering robust receivables process management for this global business.
Reporting to the Group Collections Manager, you will work within a large team both site based and remote (European locations) in coaching, mentoring and instilling best practice to those responsible for receivable ledgers in their designated territories through delivery of ongoing training, key initiatives and effective trouble shooting.
Additionally, the reporting requirements will fall under the jurisdiction of this position.
The European Credit Specialist is very much hands-off collections but hands on management of process, the number 2 to the Group Collections Manager.
Essentially, an experienced, skilled and knowledgeable credit / collections professional. ICM qualification is advantageous however experience, attitude and approach to debt management is key.
Additionally, we are seeking applicants to possess strong IT skills and experience with Business Intelligence tools. Advanced excel skills are required (preferably Macro level, essentially Pivots, LookUp’s etc).
Culturally, my client is a large US owned business with a matrix structure. We are seeking somebody who can demonstrate significant experience within a large corporate, preferably a Shared Services or similar Matrix model.
The ability to travel is desirable as there will be times where you will be required to attend sites across Europe. This is minimal and unlikely to be more than 3 or 4 times per year.
Salary guide is c£38k plus 25 days holiday, free parking, pension scheme
