Administrator/Receptionist Ref: BJ698

The Opportunity

Working for one of the leading providers of training and compliance services, our client is looking to recruit an Administrator & Receptionist to join their team.  

 Do you have a minimum of 12 months experience within an Administrative capacity? Are you a confident and professional communicator?

 

The Role

Reception duties: 

  • Lunchtime cover for their full-time receptionist (1 hour per day)
  • Holiday cover (where applicable)
  • Answering telephones
  • Directing calls to correct departments
  • Taking messages
  • Greeting clients face to face
  • Receiving post and deliveries
  • Other reception related duties
  • Dealing with emails and client queries
  • Processing client bookings, including swaps, changes and cancellations

 

Administrator duties: 

  • Dealing with post including using a franking machine and mailings
  • Scanning and filing documents, manually and on a computer system
  • Making refreshments for internal meetings and office visitors
  • Emptying the dishwasher and ensuring the kitchens are tidy
  • Calling venues to ensure course notes have arrived (UPS)
  • Ordering stationary and envelopes
  • Amending PDFs
  • Making up course note packs
  • Updating the system with attendances
  • Typing up course assessments
  • Re-sending undelivered post
  • Supporting the team 

The Candidate

  • Have a minimum of 12 months experience within an office support capacity
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to prioritise workload
  • Well organised
  • Competent user of Microsoft platforms and internal databases
  • Personable and self-motived
