Flowers HR has been recently instructed to appoint a HR Advisor to a fast paced and developing business on a fixed term contract to cover maternity leave initially for 6 months with a view to extending for a further 6 months. The business is going through a transition having recently became part of a large group of companies following being acquired. There is great emphasis on the development of processes within it’s operational functions with HR playing a central role. In summary, an exciting and challenging opportunity for a budding HR professional to gain more exposure in a position that requires significant visibility within the business.
Reporting to the Senior HR Advisor, you will play an active role in providing guidance and support to the management team in Employee Relations on the front line whilst developing basic training and coaching frameworks for the development of process awareness.
We are seeking somebody who primarily is experienced in providing ER advice and support in coordinating and managing a case load, attending disciplinary and grievance hearings largely performance and absence related.
You should be a confident communicator with a keen eye for best practice and able to influence these areas.
Salary guide is c£24k to £26k with an additional retention bonus of £1500 for successful completion of the contract. Hours are 8.30am to 5pm or 9am to 5.30pm, whichever works best for you. Reduced hours may also be considered
