People who typically get rejected due to a lack of experience but do demonstrate ambition, drive and commitment to a chosen vocation. College / University leavers and particularly career changers seeking to retrain post-pandemic.
In the main, rejection letters have become the norm for these people. As a B2B, B2C and importantly Human2Human business, we’d like to change that with a value add proposition that positively impacts not only our corporate social responsibility but that of the people we engage with everyday, employers and prospective employees,
Flowers will sponsor a “best bud” that meets our criteria, providing a fully funded (by ourselves) 4 week placement, providing minimum wage, 30 hours per week.
We will offer opportunities to employers with a registered interest as and when we have a qualified and vetted “best bud” available to hire.
One sponsored worker per quarter of a calendar year will be provided,
Our “Best Buds” will be over 18 years old a career changer or Graduate or College leaver who must demonstrate application to get their own foot in the door such as voluntary work, university placement, additional training, computer courses, AAT studier, CIPD studier etc.
There isn’t one. Flowers will not profit from any sponsored placement. If the worker is offered a permanent role or further ongoing temporary work, no agency fee will be applied. A monetary benefit is not the driver of this offering, it’s because it’s a Human thing to do.
