Reporting to the Finance Director, you will assume responsibilities for 5 direct reports and 4 indirect within the Finance Operational team where you will be accountable for the performance and integrity of transactional and key management data.
Key responsibilities will include:
Responsible for the monthly close, first review of the accounts and investigating key variances
Actively, be involved in the month end process to ensure adequate knowledge in the event of needing to cover for exam leave and holidays.
Supporting the budget process by collating detailed information on history of revenue and costs.
Working with the Finance Director, Finance Manager and Systems Accountant to create a strong culture of systems and controls, implementing improvements and identifying issues.

We are seeking a high calibre management accounts professional with demonstrable experience working within a managerial / influential post within the services sector. You will be a superb influencer with strong people management skills. You will be ideally be qualified ACA/ACCA/ACMA however degree educated qualified by experience would be considered
Salary guide c£40k to £50k + Pension + Bonus + Share Scheme
