Based in Groby, this is a company operating in a specialist sector and experiencing a strong bounce back. Following a reshuffle, the Finance Manager is seeking to appoint an assistant to help her in the day-to-day accounts administration.
This is a role that offers a strong degree of flexibility in that where part-time hours are required, they can be very accommodating for the chosen candidates requirements
You'll predominantly be undertaking responsibility for invoice processing, matching, batching and coding, reconciling statements and discrepancies ensuring accuracy is of high level at all times.
In addition, you will be managing the Sales Invoicing and Credit Control
The system you’ll be using is Sage 200
Whilst the above makes up the majority of the role, there is a requirement to assist within other administrative needs generally around the office.
We are seeking previous experience in Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger. You should be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of basic accounts / bookkeeping principles (double entry, debits / credits)
In addition, you should be fully adept with computerised accounts (ideally Sage Line 50 or 200) and you must know your way around Excel to formula level whilst able to demonstrate an all-round office skillset to enable versatility for the adhoc requirements
