The Opportunity

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Stick & Logistics Controller to join a small and friendly team. The Role

  To ensure the accurate and efficient handling and administration of goods receiving and issue from bulk storage, incoming traffic flow, replenishment and put away of goods. Maintaining the good order at all times and minimising the risk to the company for loss or damage.

Key Tasks

  • Managing the container bookings process with the forwarding agents
  • Ensuring all incoming goods are labelled and scanned in line with receipt process
  • Managing the booking and flow of traffic onto site for goods inward and collections
  • Communicating and updating ERP data for expected goods inwards and collections
  • Liaison with WDM on schedule of customer shipments from bulk store
  • Pre prepare and documentation and labels for planned receipts
  • Manage replenishment of others warehouse units on site from bulk store stocks
  • Verify receipted goods and put away doc’s prior to recording and booking onto system
  • Ensure manpower is allocated to handle the flow of daily receipts and collections
  • Ensure timely unloading of containers within the 3 hours unloading window
  • Ensure stocks of manufactured goods are booked into bulk locations
  • Ensure any uncompleted daily tasks are reported to the WDM
  • Ensure all FLT drivers carry out the daily forklift checks and administration
  • Manage and monitor the work activities of all team members in bulk store area
  • Manage the daily checks of racking and stocks as required
  • Maintain yarn data on the server for material held on site
  • Ability to lead, motivate and guide team members
  • Maintain accurate and timely completion of daily tasks
  • Processing prompt and accurate stock data information
  • Undertake all duties professionally following company procedures
  • Control of documentation process
  • Observe and maintain good housekeeping & health and safety at all times
  • Knowledge of IT and WMS systems
  • Organised and structured, capable of working to deadlines
  • Direct approach to resolving issues
  • Accurate and timely completion of daily tasks

Hours:   Full time 8:30am to 5pm. Monday to Friday.37.5 hours per week
