The Opportunity

Marketing Admin assistant-Coalville

Permanent role and an immediate start for the right person

Monday to Thursday 8:30am to 5pm, Friday 8:30am to 4;30pm, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break

Salary: up to £21,000 plus free car parking and a good benefits package

My client is looking to appoint a Marketing Admin assistant to join a family run business in a small but rewarding team environment. This is a busy role and the successful candidate will be self-motivated who can work well on their own but also as part of a team.

This job offers a variety of tasks that will vary from  day from day to day and requires high levels of attention to detail. This is a rewarding role for the right person and you will also receive good training in this role. This business is going from strength to strength and its definitely exciting times ahead for the right candidate.

 

Job Overview

This is a marketing admin role that will require you to have high levels of attention to detail and perform a variety of tasks. Working in a busy but successful marketing team you must be able to use your initiative and not be afraid to make decisions as well as have high levels of attention to detail.

The Role

 

The successful Marketing Admin assistant will be responsible for the following duties:

 

·         Processing all sales leads that come in from the website and other sources

·         Running daily, weekly and monthly reports using the Access database

·         Processing samples, brochures and promotional items

·         Processing all stock on loan and samples and merchandising orders

·         Manipulating databases for mail outs via post and electronically using Excel and Word

·         Participating in both domestic and trade shows, when applicable

·         Help proof read certain brochures, price list and press releases

·         Maintain various diaries and be responsible for the bookings

The Candidate

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate the following:

 

 

·         You will be self-motivated and be able to work well on your own but also in a busy team

·         Ability to work in a team but also using own initiative

·         Must have understanding of Word, Excel and Outlook

·         Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills

·         Must be pro-active and highly organised

·         Must be able to work accurately and efficiently and effectively

·         Must be able to stay away from home from time to time in order to attend domestic and trade shows

·         A creative flair would be preferable
